I adopted a 7 month old wolf hound x retriever from a local
sanctuary, they told me he was badly beaten and really scared. To be honest, I've never seen
such a terrified pooch. He wouldn't even stand up straight he was constantly hunched into
himself. Obviously I fell in love with him, and brought him home.
Two days later I was concerned enough to take him to the vet, who diagnosed congenital
cataracts - totally blind in his left eye and he can only see shadow and movement in his right.
How can a sanctuary morally not tell me? He was in there for almost 3 weeks.
Anyway he's doing brilliant now and I've setup a web site for him: www.baileysblind.co.uk with his full story and loads of piccies are on there too.
