From Harley's "Aunt Nicole":

Harley is an Aussie/Shepherd mix that needs a home because he was my sister's dog, and she passed away suddenly. Harley is now with my niece, but her house is too small and does not have a yard. She also has her hands full with 3 babies.

Harley does best with female dogs. He has lived with cats in the past, but he does like to chase (not hurt) them, I think he just wants to play. Harley does not do well with smaller children, so age 7 & above would be best.

Harley is very energetic, playful and loving. Some obedience training may calm him down a bit, or the right person or home. For the most part, Harley is housebroken, with just a few incidents here and there.
A fenced yard would probably be best, but he really is not a runner.

Harley is not currently neutered, but as far as I know, his medical status is ok. He has had a few siezures in the past, but never had to be on medication. Vaccines and vet care I am not really sure of. I know my sister was on SSI, so she had very limited funds. We are not sure of why he is losing his sight. He was in an altercation with the other dog in the home and the vet surmised that it was some sort of eye trauma that caused it. But nothing they could do.

Harley is currently in Kankakee, Illinois. Please contact Nicole - 708-502-8065 or
Jakki - 815-937-5665 for more information on adopting Harley.
