Meet Sparky!

From Sparky's current temporary family: Several months ago we took a blind dog for a friend that wasn't able to care for him. After having had Sparky for several months, we're also in the same situation. We can't properly care for Sparky and his needs and are looking for someone that is better equipped to take care of his issues. While we don't know for sure, we think Sparky is diabetic and that was the cause for his blindness. Our friend adopted Sparky from a Corgi rescue but after having him for about six months needed to find another home for him. She knew we had rescued a number of dogs and asked if we could try to take Sparky on. However, Sparky has more issues than we can address and need to find another situation for him. Sparky is blind, but the major issue we have with him is what we believe to be diabetes. Sparky drinks constantly and therefore urinates frequently. We're not able to tend for a diabetic dog and the associated expense and would like to find him a home if possible and not have to take him to a shelter. Sparky is playful, affectionate, energetic, and has a wonderful disposition. He gets along well with our other dogs, our kids, and has no tempermental problems.
